________
Q: How can I pick up my tulips?
A: Earlysville farm pick up or delivery is available for a small additional fee.
Q: What is the cost of one bunch?
A: One bunch of our specialty, organically grown, pesticide free bunches of tulips costs $30. Please note we offer a mason jar option which is a $5 charge, totaling $35.
Q: Can I request a particular color palette?
A: We will do our absolute best to provide you with you requested color palette, however, please note that Mother Nature throws curveballs and we cannot promise anything!
Q: What is the difference between Black Haus Blooms tulips and grocery store tulips?
A: Did you know that over 80% of flowers purchased in the United States are grown overseas? These flowers are raised with heavy use of dangerous pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides.
Additionally, there are very poor labor conditions for those who work on the farm.
These flowers also travel miles and miles to get to your local store, producing unnecessary carbon emissions. When they do get here after the long journey, they are typically already a week old, which means their vase life will be just a couple of days when they make it to your home.
Purchasing flowers from Black Haus Blooms will not only give you peace of mind that they’re free of harmful chemicals, but also that your new flowers will last long in a vase for you to admire. We promise they’ll have a one of a kind of scent, color, and variety that you can’t find in a store!
Q: What is the local flower movement?
A: The local flower movement, similar to the local food movement, encourages consumers to question the origins and impact of the flowers they buy. You could say that it is a form of activism, as you are buying from a local farmer instead of an overseas-produced bouquet of harsh chemicals, exploitative labor practices, a huge carbon footprint due to shipping.
When you choose to purchase your flowers from Black Haus Blooms, you become a supportive part of this new movement toward sustainably/ecologically responsibly grown, locally sourced, seasonal flowers! Thank you for choosing local flowers and supporting your local community!
Q: When does the pre-order option start?
A: Pre-orders are now open as of 3/12/2025!
